Four legged friends are very welcome to join us at The Crown & Thistle to enjoy a well-deserved break with their much loved humans.  After a long day of walking, exploring, or simply chillin’ in the courtyard – they can enjoy a scoop of Judes Dog Ice Cream, a great treat for your furry friend! Plus we always have plenty of dog treats on hand.

Millets Farm

Millets Farm is a 500 acre dog friendly site with various areas and activities that dogs can be part of. Pheobe Woods and wetlands runs alongside the River Ock on the farm site and offers 10 acres of walking trails in pretty surroundings. Frosts garden centre also allows dogs inside the store and the Flower Market Café allows dogs in the outside seating area.

Abbey Meadows

Just a mile from the Crown and Thistle, Abbey Meadows offers a safe place for dogs to walk off-lead in the park.
